Become a PADI Scuba diver and complete the whole course over two days at Dubai Aquarium. PADI Scuba diver course is a subset of the Open water course. PADI Scuba divers are trained to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a Maximum depth of 12 metres. If you are short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI scuba diver might be right for you particulary if you expect to go scuba diving primarly with a dive guide. This certification is for life and can be used anywhere in the world.
Following your theory lessons to understand the basic principles of Scuba diving you will take 3 training dives from our purpose built platform inside the Tank. Here you will be taught the basic scuba skills before you venture out for your final 2 dives in the 10 million Litre Dubai Aquarium. Dubai aquarium is one of the largest suspended aquariums in the world and home to more than 33,000 animals. There are over 400 sharks and rays in the tank, including the world’s biggest collection of Sand Tiger sharks. Other shark species include black-tip and white-tip reef sharks, zebra sharks, wobbegongs, grey reefs and nurse sharks. There are also many ray species in the aquarium including cow-nose rays, fan-tails, eagle rays, leopard rays, shave-nose rays and bowmouth guitarfish.
The price is inclusive of dive gear rental, dive guide at a ratio of 2:1, DAN diver insurance (Represented in the UAE by Oman Insurance PSC) At the end of your diving experience you will receive a free ticket to visit Underwater Zoo.
PADI Scuba Divers are qualified to:
- Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.
- Obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities as long as properly supervised.
- Continue dive training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification and taking certain specialty diver courses.
- PADI materials, certification fees, equipment rental are included.
